CRMC Foundation Hosts 30th Annual Bill Read Golf Classic

The 30th Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation Bill Read Golf Classic will be played on Saturday, September 28 at the Coffeyville Country Club. All proceeds from the event will benefit the CRMC Foundation. The Bill Read Golf Classic was started to remember Dr. William Read who practiced in Coffeyville following a tour of duty in the Pacific in World War II. Read continued to serve the community until closing his practice in 1987. He delivered about 3,000 babies during that time and served CRMC in a variety of capacities including serving as a trustee from 1972-1987. Read was known for his patience, and his genuine desire to help the people of the community.

The Bill Read Golf Classic is an 18-hole, 4-man team scramble. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided at the clubhouse or brought to golfers on the course.

The tournament concludes with the Golf Ball Drop. The tournament will also include additional contests, a silent auction, door prizes and awards for the top three teams in each flight.
